Privacy Policy

The short version

Keepette collects nothing. There are no accounts, no servers, no analytics and no third-party SDKs. Your photos, stickers, notes and the two names on the cover are written to your device and stay there.

What Keepette stores, and where

Photos you keep, the stickers cut from them, anything you write on a page, and the two names on the book cover are saved in the app's own private storage on your device.

That storage is covered by your iPhone's own encryption and by whatever backup you already use — an encrypted iCloud or Finder device backup includes it. Keepette itself does not upload anything, to us or to anyone else.

Camera

The camera is used only when you are looking at it, to take the photo you asked for. Lifting a subject off its background happens on your device, using Apple's on-device Vision framework. No frame from the viewfinder and no photo you take is transmitted anywhere.

Photo library

Choosing an existing photo uses Apple's system photo picker. Keepette is handed only the single image you pick and never gets access to your library, which is why it never asks for photo permission.

Motion

The book tilts as you tilt the phone. That reads the device's motion sensors live, purely to draw the page. Nothing from those sensors is recorded, stored or sent.

What is not here

No tracking, in the App Store's sense or any other. No advertising, no advertising identifiers, no attribution, no crash or usage analytics, no fingerprinting, no data brokers. Keepette makes no network requests at all.

Because nothing is collected, nothing is shared or sold, and there is no data of yours for us to hand over on request — we do not have any.

Deleting your data

Deleting a sticker or a note removes it in the app. Deleting the Keepette app removes everything it stored, including any device copy of your photos and names. There is nothing to request, export or close, because there is no account.

Children

Keepette is not directed at children under 13 and knowingly collects no information from anyone, of any age.

Changes

If a future version of Keepette ever syncs between two phones, this page will say so plainly, in advance of that version shipping, and the App Store privacy label will change with it. Any update to this policy will be posted here with a new effective date.
