Something broken, missing or confusing? Email hello@kvv.studio and say which iPhone and which iOS version you are on. It is a small studio, so a real person answers.
Common questions
- What do I need to run it?
- An iPhone on iOS 26 or later. Keepette is portrait-only and iPhone-only; there is no iPad or Mac version.
- Where are my memories kept?
- On the phone, in the app's own storage. Keepette has no account and no server, so nothing is anywhere else.
- How do I back them up?
- An iPhone backup — iCloud Backup or an encrypted Finder backup — includes Keepette's pages, and restoring that backup to a new phone brings them with it. Syncing live between two phones is planned, not built.
- The camera is black, or says it is off.
- Keepette needs camera permission to take a photo. Open Settings, scroll to Keepette, and turn Camera on. You can still keep photos from your library without it.
- The sticker kept the background instead of cutting it out.
- Subject lifting works best on one clear thing against a plainer backdrop, and it runs entirely on the phone. When it cannot find a subject, Keepette keeps the whole photo as a polaroid instead — which is a fallback, not a failure.
- How do I change the two names on the cover?
- Press and hold the names above the book on the home screen.
- How do I delete everything?
- Delete the app. That removes every page, sticker, note and name it stored. There is no account left behind.
